Waku Waku - Redesign
This was my first project with a real client where the client requested a design makeover for his website for his bar/restaurant. I started of by making simple mockups by hand that I presented to the client. Later I created a prototype in figma and showcased it to the client. The client approved of the design and I started working on the wordpress builder website.
Some limitations that I faced during this project was that the client had a free theme heavily restricting the design process, for example it was not possible to drag and drop elements freely around the canvas without code and that limitation combined with a limited time schedule set by the client I went for a centered design where everything was focused in the middle.
I aimed to convey a more minimalistic and premium feeling in the clients brand by using clear and formal colors (White and black) combined with his brands color red. I tried using the color red as little as possible as I thought red wasn't a good color for his brands identity but the client expressed that he didn't want to change his graphic profile.
